Affiliate-Hinweis

FPSpilot is a gaming hardware portal funded, in part, through affiliate programmes. This page explains what they are, how they work and what it means for you as a user, in accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI), Spanish unfair competition regulations and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on advertising transparency.
1. What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a link to an external store that contains a unique identifier. When you click it and make a purchase at that store (usually within a time window set by the store), FPSpilot may receive a small commission from the store.
The price you pay is exactly the same as if you went directly to the store: affiliate programmes never add extra costs for the buyer.
2. Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links may appear in:
- Hardware build pages (in component "Buy" buttons).
- Game pages ("Where to buy?" buttons).
- Hardware pages (CPUs, GPUs, gaming laptops, etc.).
- Any other section of the site that links to products at external stores.
Affiliate links are not individually marked with a special icon, but this disclosure is accessible from the footer of every page on the site, and a generic notice is shown in the footer itself.
3. Affiliate programmes we participate in
| Store / Programme | Geographic scope |
|---|---|
| Amazon Associates (USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy) | United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy |
| PcComponentes (Awin affiliate network) | Spain |
| Coolmod (own or network affiliate programme) | Spain |
| Other programmes we may join in the future | Variable |
This list is updated when programmes are added or removed.
4. Editorial independence
Affiliate commissions do not influence performance data, comparative hardware scores or technical information published on FPSpilot. These are produced using objective technical criteria, independently of the stores we have agreements with.
Prices shown on builds are entered by community users, not by FPSpilot. They may be inaccurate or out of date.
FPSpilot does not receive payment for featuring, recommending or positioning a specific product above another. If we publish sponsored content in the future, it will be clearly identified as such.
5. How commission attribution works
Stores use cookies and/or URL parameters to attribute the sale to FPSpilot. The attribution window varies by store (typically between 24 hours and 30 days). If you make a purchase after that window, or if you clear your browser cookies beforehand, the commission may not be generated, although the price to you is always the same.
6. FPSpilot is not a party to the sale
FPSpilot is not a seller, intermediary or party to any transaction. When you click an external link, you access the destination store under its own terms and conditions. Any issue with the order, return or warranty must be handled directly with the retailer.
7. FTC disclosure (US users)
In compliance with FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials: FPSpilot participates in affiliate programmes and may receive compensation for clicks or purchases made through affiliate links on this site. This does not affect the objectivity of the data or technical recommendations.
8. Contact
