Cookie-Richtlinie
Last updated: July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies FPSpilot uses, what they are used for, and how you can manage them, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser when you visit it. Cookies allow the site to remember information about your visit (such as your user session or language preference) so you do not have to re-enter it on every page load.
2. Cookies used by FPSpilot
FPSpilot only uses strictly necessary technical cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | First / Third party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
fpspilot.sid |
Session (technical) | Keeps you logged in once authenticated. Without this cookie, you would need to enter your credentials on every page. | 7 days (or until browser close if you do not select "remember me") | First party |
lang |
Preference (technical) | Remembers your chosen language (Spanish or English) so it is shown automatically on future visits. | 1 year | First party |
3. Legal basis — why your consent is not required
The cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the service to function. Under the ePrivacy Directive and the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD), these cookies are exempt from the prior consent requirement because they are essential for delivering the service requested by the user. They are not used for any additional purpose.
4. Third-party cookies from external stores (affiliate links)
When you click an affiliate link on FPSpilot and visit an external store (Amazon, PcComponentes, Coolmod, or others), that store may place its own cookies in your browser to track the sale conversion and attribute it to FPSpilot. These are third-party cookies set by the external stores and are outside our control. We recommend reviewing each store's cookie policy.
5. How to manage or delete cookies
You can manage, block or delete cookies from your browser's privacy settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Menu → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies.
- Safari (macOS/iOS): Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
Note: deleting the session cookie (fpspilot.sid) will log you out. Blocking all cookies may prevent certain site features from working correctly.
6. Changes
If FPSpilot introduces new cookies in the future (e.g. first-party analytics tools), we will update this Cookie Policy in advance and implement the appropriate consent mechanism if required.
